Hi everyone, my name is Harleen. I am originally from Surrey BC, but I do reside in Victoria part-time. I am in my second year of post-secondary, with my major being English and a minor in History.
While I am not in school, I enjoy biking, hiking, and spending time outdoors. I also enjoy working with youth and have volunteered with organizations such as YMCA and Surrey Schools. With my interest in working with youth and my passion for subjects such as English and History, I hope to go into teaching in the future.
As someone who grew up with technology and social media, I have experienced both the positive and negative impacts of it. While it can be risky at time, it is a great tool that can be taken advantage of for educational purposes. I am looking forward to Edci 335, and all the new things I learn!
